The 105.5 Moose FM Hospital Radiothon took place on Friday, Oct. 8 and was an overwhelming success, raising $170,184 to support Huntsville Hospital and the Focus on Imaging Campaign.
The Huntsville Hospital Foundation sends out a big thank you to 105.5 Moose FM and their listeners, as well as everyone who recorded their message in advance or came into the studio to chat live.
The phones rang consistently all day, and the community really stepped up and made a huge difference this year. This year’s radiothon beat last year’s record of $76,000. DJ Brock and DJ Kat (Katherine Craine) entertained listeners all day, and they heard from passionate physicians, caring hospital staff, and dedicated volunteers.

HHF executive director Katherine Craine explained, “The results of this year’s radiothon are still just sinking in. We are beyond blown away by the amazing support we’ve received. We shouldn’t be surprised, this community is strong, can be counted on and are so passionate for their hospital! On behalf of our Foundation’s board of directors and our staff team please accept our sincerest thanks for this wonderful demonstration of giving.“
The Huntsville Hospital Foundation acknowledges the following supporters:
Special thanks to POWER HOUR sponsors: SML Contracting, Dr. Deane Murdy DDS, Greystone Project Management and Mr. Ross McKinnon.
