The beautiful fall colours attract hundreds of people to Muskoka and Algonquin Park to take in the splendour, sometimes causing long lines of traffic. But congestion is nothing new on summer and fall weekends—this photo was taken on the Civic Holiday weekend decades ago. Can you guess the year and the location?

Fred Francis, pictured front row, centre, in the above photo with members of his family in front of Francis House, was Huntsville’s first constable. According to Huntsville: With Spirit and Resolve by Susan Pryke, Francis received between $10-15 per year for that role.
