With four more local businesses joining the Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Business Cares program in recent months, it continues to grow beyond its goal of raising $1,000,000 over five years to support local healthcare.
Hidden Valley Resort & Watersedge Custom Builders and Main Street Dental, Dr. Chris Pearce, are pleased to announce they are the most recent to join the Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Business Cares Program. They have joined the Business Cares initiative because their donation is an investment in our community which will help improve healthcare for all residents.
You will notice the Hidden Valley Resort & Watersedge Custom Builders and Main Street Dental, Dr. Chris Pearce logos featured on the Foundation’s billboard at Hwy 60 & Muskoka Road 3 and on Frank Miller Drive.

I choose to support Huntsville Hospital Foundation because it has served my family my entire life. More recently my son was born at Huntsville Hospital with an emergency C-section. The Huntsville Hospital is an essential part of our community that we cannot afford to lose!

The Fleming family, owners of Cedar Grove Lodge for over 90 years explain, “We support Huntsville Hospital as it looks after the medical needs of not only our personal family, but all of our staff, and also our guests who stay with us and need emergency care during their visit. I always make a point to ask the guests on their return how their experience was at the hospital. One hundred per cent of them always return with high praise for our kind hospital staff and the speed at which they were looked after. I have witnessed many times a health issue/emergency that has the potential to ruin a guest’s vacation, but is turned into a positive experience as they get looked after in a timely and skilled manner by the caring staff at the hospital. Huntsville Hospital has been there over the years for all of us, family, staff and guests alike, and we hope it will be for many more years to come. We are very pleased to show our thanks by supporting the Huntsville Hospital in the Business Cares program.”
Huntsville Hospital Foundation in partnership with their Business Cares Committee, officially launched their Business Cares initiative in January 2016 with the goal of enrolling 40 businesses in the community. They are very happy to report that they have surpassed their goal. Their plan is to continue with this successful initiative, as they have many businesses expressing interest in joining the Business Cares community. Since its inception, 45 local businesses have committed to donating $25,000 or more over the next five years for Healthcare for Life. Here.
