A message from the Town of Huntsville
The Town of Huntsville will be making changes to how customers will be served at Town Hall.
“In an ongoing effort to enhance the Customer Service experience for our residents and visitors to the Town Hall, we will be reopening the customer service counter on the 3rd floor,” said Yvonne Aubichon, Director of Corporate Services.
In early March 2019, general inquiries, the Mayor’s Office, clerk functions, and finance and tax related inquiries or payments will be directed to the newly reopened third floor customer service desk.
All building, planning or development service related business, economic development, arts, culture and heritage, and human resources will be available at the second floor customer service desk.
Residents are asked to regard the Town Hall building signage starting in March for the changes and to connect with Town staff regarding any questions or concerns at 705-789-1751.
The Town thanks residents for their patience during this transition.

The young lady who previously (wo)manned the position was doing an excellent job, and also allowing staff in the front office to remain seated (and concentrating); rather than derailing their respective trains of thought to provide this service. I won’t stoop to asking why the position was eliminated in the first place: I just hope that the former person will be given the right of first refusal, if she hasn’t been absorbed somewhere else in the seemingly endless march of new positions.
