The 2026 Municipal Election will take place on October 26, 2026. If you plan to vote, you must be on the voter list. Confirm, update or add your information by visiting the Elections Ontario website at RegisterToVoteOn.ca.
The deadline to check whether you are registered is August 12. After that date, you will need to register directly with the Town of Huntsville.
Key Dates
In preparation for the upcoming municipal election, the Town has identified some important key dates:
- August 12: Deadline to check, update or add yourself to the voters’ list with Elections Ontario
- August 21 at 2:00 p.m.: Candidate nomination period ends
- September 1 – October 26: Check, update or add yourself by visiting huntsville.ca/election or by contacting the Town municipal office for assistance
- October 14 – October 26: Cast your vote
- October 23: Last day for third-party advertisers to register
