Three individuals charged in Burk’s Falls drug bust

Members of the OPP, including the Northeast Region Community Street Crime Unit and the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, have charged three individuals following the execution of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant in Burk’s Falls.

On March 31, 2026, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Main Street in Burk’s Falls. As a result of the search, police seized a quantity of suspected illicit drugs and other offence-related property.

Items seized include approximately:

  • 63 grams of fentanyl
  • 16 grams of cocaine
  • 164 grams of crystal methamphetamine
  • 737 Percocet tablets
  • 85 LSD blot tabs
  • Canadian currency
  • Three cellular phones
  • Two pellet handguns
  • A digital scale and packaging materials

The estimated total street value of the seized drugs is approximately $35,300.

As a result of the investigation:

James DOWNS, 52 years of age, of Burk’s Falls, Jenny-Lynn DANIELS, 44 years of age, of Burk’s Falls and Katherine BLANCHARD, 42 years of age, of Huntsville were all charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking – LSD
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – oxycodone
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000,

All three accused are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sundridge at a later time.

    complaining feel like they are the ones doing they lying?
