The District Municipality of Muskoka is inviting residents, business owners, visitors, and community organizations to review the draft recommendations for its first-ever Transportation Master Plan and share their feedback.
The Transportation Master Plan will guide how people and goods move throughout Muskoka over the next 30 years. Feedback received during the first two phases of the project helped shape the draft recommendations, which address:
- Road safety and traffic flow
- Road connectivity and network resilience
- Walking, cycling, and other active transportation options
- Transit, shared mobility, and community transportation services
- Environmental protection and community character
- Implementation priorities and affordability
As the project enters its final phase of public engagement, community feedback will help confirm priorities, identify any remaining concerns or opportunities, and refine the recommendations before the Transportation Master Plan is finalized.
Five minutes can help move Muskoka forward.
Whether you drive, walk, cycle, use community transportation, own a business, live in Muskoka year-round, visit seasonally, or travel through the region, your feedback will guide the future of Muskoka’s transportation network and how you and future generations get around.
Complete the online survey by August 3rd, 2026, or meet the project team at select farmers’ markets across Muskoka over the coming weeks.
