In the Huntsville Sting’s first American tournament, the U13B Huntsville girls’ hockey team returned from Lake Placid, New York, with gold.
The Huntsville Girls Hockey Association will be hosting its 46th annual tournament, which will bring more than 65 hockey teams from across Ontario. The tournament will be held the weekend of Jan 10th-12th, 2025.
The Association was recently awarded the Certificate of Community Recognition from the Town of Huntsville. Board President Kerri Vallentin accepted the certificate on behalf of the association for its expanding program and dedicated board and parents who strive to make hockey accessible to local girls and provide an economic boost to the community through its annual hockey tournament.
