From the Ontario SPCA Muskoka Animal Centre
To help manage pet populations and reach underserved communities, the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is bringing a MASH-style spay/neuter and wellness clinic for cats to Bracebridge from Oct. 2-4.
The three-day clinic, which is being held at J.D. Lang Park in Bracebridge, is still accepting male cat neuter appointments and limited female cat spay appointments. The clinic will also offer vaccinations and microchips.
“The Ontario SPCA is excited to be able to offer this pop-up event to serve pet parents in the district,” says Leslie Barrie, Community Outreach Coordinator, Ontario SPCA Muskoka Animal Centre. “We want to ensure that people have access to basic animal wellness services to keep their beloved pets happy and healthy.”
Appointments are required to secure a spot at the clinic. To learn more or to register, visit ontariospca.ca/mobileservices

Reading about the spay/neuter clinic for cats in Bracebridge, is wonderful. We have had cats for over 40 years and the first expense , and it is an expense, is spaying/neutering the kittens. Thanks goes to the vet/nurses who take part in this program. The last two kittens we now “support” where free until it became time to have them “fixed”. The vet bill was certainly a shock to the bank account.
Thanks to all the folks involved
