A message from the District of Muskoka
This week’s construction schedule (June 1 – June 5, 2020) will continue with underground installations on the sanitary, storm sewer and some overnight work on watermain valves near the Cann Street intersection. The District of Muskoka and J.B. Enterprises are working closely with businesses and property owners in the area to ensure access is maintained.
Although sidewalk work will be taking place, a fully accessible sidewalk will be provided on one side of the road at all times. Signage will be in place to direct motorists and pedestrians around the work zone, detour maps for both day and overnight work can be found here.

As a resident of Cliff Avenue, close to Morris, I haven’t been able to sleep with this all-night construction on King William. Surely this can’t go on, can it? Aren’t there bylaws that prevent the noise of beeping, whining, banging, crashing, yelling etc going on all night? Please I’m quite desperate.
