Our Town with Grant Nickalls: Thanks to those who do thankless jobs

Each week, Huntsville’s own Grant Nickalls will inspire us, entertain us, make us laugh or perhaps cry, but always he will remind us why Huntsville is the best place on earth to call home.

This week in Our Town, some jobs don’t get a lot of thanks. Here’s a shout-out to those who do often thankless work.

  1. Brian Tapley says:

People like to joke about the works guys leaning on their shovels, the police eating donuts at Horton’s and all that BUT when the weather is really lousy, usually cold and wet, these are the same guys and girls who work half the night to try to fix all the little things that go wrong in our community so that the rest of us can have a more or less “normal” day tomorrow.
Like Grant says, we need to appreciate this maybe a little more.
