OPP searching for vehicle involved in hit and run

 

On Friday February 7, 2020 just after 8:30 am Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police were made aware of a fail to remain that occurred on Brunel Road in the town of Huntsville across from the Brunel Locks.

Information is that a dark coloured 4 door mid-sized vehicle struck a vehicle and continued south on Brunel Road leaving the scene of the crash.

This vehicle continued south passing a school bus with its lights activated and stop arm down, narrowly missing a child crossing the road at the same time.

Anyone with any information about this vehicle is asked to contact Huntsville OPP at 705 789 5551.   1. Yet another incident of a child narrowly missing being hit by a driver disregarding the flashing lights and stop arm. When are the buses going to be equipped with dashcams? Will it take a fatality to make this a priority?
