It’s the fourth COVID-19 case this month. Of the 58 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Huntsville to date, four are active. None are in hospital in Huntsville. Two people have died from the disease in Huntsville, as well as a third person in Muskoka Lakes.
There have been 15 COVID-19 cases in Huntsville since Jan. 1. Just over half (30) have occurred since December 1, 2020. In Lake of Bays, there have been six cases in total, all of which are resolved.

Outbreak related? Where is the “outbreak”?

It is important that the Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit is willing and able to share information re the number, location, and outcome of Covid-19 cases in their area.
The North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit does not!
We have been told that, for ‘privacy’ reasons, they will only report on ‘outbreaks’. Recently, they confirmed a number of cases at a North Bay location, and some in the Parry Sound region, but will not name the communities..
Can anyone explain why there are different rules for reporting public health information?
