    I’d agree with Dave. I think the round turret on the building on the left is still there today.
    Hard to tell as the picture is kind of faint and I cannot enlarge it more, but is the bridge over the river just being built? It does not look to be completely across the river?

    A vintage view was taken from good old Huntsville Public School facing east. I’m going with late 1890’s for date taken.
