Irwin Memorial raises more than $3,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation!

Irwin Memorial Public School achieved a remarkable milestone this year, surpassing previous fundraising goals by raising an impressive $3,100 for the Terry Fox Foundation.

The school’s Terry Fox event took place Friday, September 27, drawing enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, parents, and community members alike.

In celebration of this achievement, teachers surprised the students by donning inflatable costumes during the event. The lighthearted gesture was met with cheers and laughter as staff joined in on the fun to honor Terry Fox’s legacy.

This year’s event marks a significant increase in fundraising compared to past years, reflecting the commitment of the students and their families to making a difference.
