Cameron of Lochiel best band in the parade, again ! Congrats players .
Thanks for these pics Doppler. A great effort was made by many. And to those who missed more traditional elements, I don’t think there is anything stopping them from happening. If you want to see it, you’re got to put in the effort to make it happen.
May we all be blessed with joy and peace and laughter this Christmas and may we find ways to spread those blessings around this troubled world.
Looks like a lot of work went into the floats and good to see people interested and willing to put in the effort. I still preferred the daylight parade though, could see everything better – sorry!
As to the Santa Claus Parade – you can take Christ out of Christmas, and put in a black devil with horns (absolutely nothing to do with what Christmas is about) but you cannot take the Spirit of Christmas out of those who know its true meaning, and followers of Christ. Thankfully one church – Faith Baptist – was represented in this parade. I miss the old Huntsville parades where there were floats with shepherds, wise men, shining stars along with a babe in a manger alongside His mother Mary and father Joseph. This is the true meaning of Christmas that was sorrily missing in this parade.
GOOD SHOTS !!!
