Hunters Bay Trail extension is closed for repairs

UPDATE: The floating trail reopened at 7:30 am on August 8.

The Town of Huntsville advises residents and visitors that an unscheduled repair to Hunters Bay Trail will begin today August 6, 2019 and proceed until signage has been removed.

The floating section between East Airport Road parking lot and Lakeshore Road will be unavailable due to repairs. Please be mindful of signage instructions and caution tape when using the trail.

The remainder of the trail is still accessible from Orchard Park, heading east towards Avery Beach.

    The floating boardwalk is open again . Repairs are complete.
