Each year, the Huntsville Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce (HLOBCC) hosts a toy drive for the Salvation Army. This year, due to COVID-19, they are unable to host the event but are accepting donations at their office instead during the month of November.
The toy drive is typically hosted at a members-only event, but this year the chamber is accepting new, unwrapped toys from anyone in the community who wishes to donate.
The chamber office is located in Huntsville’s Civic Centre at 37 Main Street E, inside and around the corner from the main entrance to the Algonquin Theatre, and is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The chamber will also accept non-perishable food donations for the Salvation Army’s annual food drive.
