Had a great morning at the Village on Canada Day. Oops! Muskoka Heritage Place: my involvement there goes back a ways.
Got my gear and moccasins and did a little interpreting at the Trapper’s Cabin. Lots of people through and quite surprised when you can show them an actual dugout canoe.
Wandered down to the green (?) to catch the welcome from Capt. Hunt. Dignitaries galore. Nice since it was a community outing.
Strolled over to the cupcake table to see if I could get in early. But no dice, the lady was adamant. Somewhat miffed since there was already a red squirrel there getting himself a sugar high.
For anyone doing research on squirrels getting a buzz, I think it had selected one with red icing and no flag.
    Not an Ottawa bound squirrel.
