Aspdin Road closed east of Etwell on Oct. 10 for CN Rail repairs

CN Rail has scheduled a full road closure of Aspdin Road (Muskoka Road 3), east of Etwell Road at the CN Rail crossing.

The road will be fully closed on Thursday, October 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Advance warning signage will be in place and a signed detour will be installed to direct traffic around the one-day closure while urgent rail repairs are facilitated.

CN Rail appreciates your patience and cooperation as these repairs are completed. For inquiries relating to this closure, please contact CN Rail at 1-888-888-5909.

Please note: Emergency Services will be granted access during this closure.

    It would be great as taxpayers to receive better notice of road closures especially to accommodate customers of businesses on Aspdin Rd. I have less than a day to provide a heads-up to dog behaviour clients coming out to our Muskoka Dog Education Centre at 3109 Aspdin Rd.
