Submitted by the Fairvern Nursing Home Board of Directors
Managing through the uncharted and often turbulent waters of the COVID-19 pandemic has made us especially grateful to be living in such a wonderful and caring community.
Great communities are made up of people and organizations that step up to help others in the most difficult of times. This has been the case with our community throughout the seemingly endless storm that has been COVID-19.
No one in our community has been spared from the challenges raised by the pandemic. Despite this, our community still manages to show concern for, and the desire to support, those who are putting everything on the line to protect and care for some of the most vulnerable people among us.
The Board of Directors recognize and are extremely thankful for the efforts of everyone working at the home. Staff have remained focused on the safety of our residents while providing them with the utmost care and compassion. We are also fortunate and grateful to the many individuals and businesses in our community who recognize the challenges faced by the Fairvern team, and who have done so much to support these incredibly hardworking people.
Since the onset of COVID-19, Fairvern has received many donations in the form of cash, meals, products, and services-in-kind, all designated specifically to support and show appreciation for the dedicated and capable team at Fairvern.
Our local print and online media have kindly enabled us to reach out and say a big THANK YOU to our many supporters and donors to Fairvern during the pandemic.
The Board of Fairvern offers our sincere thanks and appreciation to these generous organizations and people:
