QUEST, a Muskoka program for boys run by the YWCA, recently received a financial donation from The Rotary Club of Huntsville. On behalf of the club, President Kim O’Grady proudly presented a cheque in the amount of $2,000 to Marcy Hill of YWCA Muskoka at Rotary’s March 7, 2018 meeting.
QUEST is a life skills program run in schools by YWCA Muskoka for boys in grades 5-8. The program provides a safe space for boys to discuss issues that are important to them with the support of a youth facilitator.
“Boys Quest is awesome. Everyone there is very supportive,” Ken St. Pierre said of his positive experience at QUEST. The program runs for 10 weeks at a time with 8 to 10 boys per group. The program has been running in Muskoka for seven years.
