And so the number of COVID cases in Huntsville is slowly but surely increasing. Not good. We don’t want to go into lockdown like Peel and other regions. A vaccine is forthcoming. Please, follow protocol. We can do it!
JOHN WYDRA says
We may soon be entering a lockdown because of our being lumped together with Simcoe. Everyone, please be careful. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, the vaccines are coming. stay vigilant follow the guide lines and we should able to weather the next couple of months.
Pam Carnochan says
As a tourist destination we need to be diligent about not encouraging visitors to travel into our areas that are coming from lockdown areas. We run tourist based businesses and unfortunately have had to limit our bookings to after the holiday season so that we don’t encourage and enable guests coming into our community that are hoping to escape their lockdowns and possibly spread the virus more readily here. We are all being asked to limit our exposure but sometimes the financial piece overrides our sense of responsibility. It hasn’t been easy to say no to the $$ especially when there have been few opportunities to make money during the Covid crisis. But it is the right thing to do.

So glad to hear the voice of Pam Carnochan. “It’s not easy but it’s the right thing to do.” The ability to sacrifice is not something that most of us know much about these days!!
