  1. Due to the change in weather there is a need for the walking track to be opened. Many people using the outdoor track at Conroy Park do so because of health reasons and not being able to continue their routine due to rain/cold is a problem. Perhaps there could be set times during the day where one could sign up and provide their contact information. This way the numbers could be controlled so there would always be a cap on the number of walkers allowed during a specific time.

  2. June Banks says:

I agree we need the track open, with cooler weather coming, a nice safe place to walk.
We could wear masks and allow so many people at a time, all going in same direction.

  3. Elizabeth Kirkby says:

yes…lets open the walking tract…I really, really miss it. People can walk separate from one another as they go around. Makes no sense to me to keep it closed.

  4. Susan Vtech says:

We can expect a second wave of the virus anytime.
They open up the swimming pool.
I hope I am wrong, but would not all that humidity
and dampness not be a breeding ground for the virus ?

  5. Ralph Cliffe says:

They have just announced major increases in infections
Possible second wave on the way along with the flu.
They are opening the swimming pool.
The virus will love the dampness and high moisture.
Dorothy, I do not think we are in Kansas anymore.

  6. Brenda Begg says:

Kim: I agree that walking the tracks with precautions is reasonable.

  7. Kim Burnside says:

I presume people will be in the change rooms at the pool with masks on and social distancing so why not allow people to walk the track with obvious precautions ?
Gyms are open are they not ? People have to book their time so why couldn’t this be done ? Winter is approaching and many seniors don’t feel safe walking in icy weather.
