From the Township of Lake of Bays
The Township of Lake of Bays will begin seasonal roadside brushing this week. This important work helps improve safety and maintain road infrastructure. Work will start on sections of Dwight Beach Road, Paint Lake Road, and Nithgrove Road.
Roadside brushing removes overgrown vegetation that can block sightlines, obscure traffic signs, or pose safety risks from falling branches in winter. Clearing these areas also improves road conditions by allowing sunlight and air to dry the surface, reducing ice buildup and preserving the road’s lifespan. Additionally, cleared roadside areas create space for plowed snow, helping to keep roads open and minimize flooding during spring thaw.

Gosh, thanks for this data. This is how it should be communicated (Maybe note to district).
Terry will someday be a TV personality all on his own. It is the first attempt I have seen for our government to actually explain how this works in a simple and friendly manner.
Thanks for the data.
