On August 19, 2023, the Huntsville Sports Hall of Fame selection committee announced their 2023 Induction line-up. The induction night celebration will take place at the Active Living Center in Huntsville on Saturday, October 14, 2023, commencing at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are now available.
The recipients are listed below:
Athlete category Linda Rosbottom, Ladies Baseball.
Colin Boucher, Lacrosse.
Rick Boucher, Lacrosse.
Joanne Bennett, Women’s Hockey.
Coach Category Rocky Clarke, Jr. C Hockey.
Builder Category Alex Robertson, Refereeing & Umpiring.
Team category 1997 Senior Masters Lacrosse Team
In addition to the new Inductees going into the Hall of Fame, the committee has announced the following annual individual award winners:
The Jan Glenn Award Female Sports Personality of the year – Nicole Dutkiewicz
The Mike Greaves Award Male Sports Personality of the year – Mike Hill & Glen Duffield
The Peter Jacob Award Consistent excellence in Huntsville Sport – Sharon Stahls.
