On February 14, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. an OPP officer came across a single-vehicle collision involving a snow vehicle on OFSC trail C102D at Butter and Egg Road in Muskoka Lakes Township that had collided with a tree. Police and Muskoka EMS attended and the 53-year-old operator from Nova Scotia was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police would like to remind snow vehicle operators to be careful with respect to changing snow conditions and adjust their driving appropriately.
