The Rosseau Lake College Varsity Field Hockey team has had a great season.

This year’s team has a mix of new players as well as some more experienced players who provide a solid backbone to the team.

The season is a short one, and this year, all games were ‘away’ games, so there was a lot of travelling.

Over the course of the season, the team won four games and tied one, scoring 11 goals, and had only two goals scored against them.

Everyone worked well together, and the team ended the season in first place in the league.

They’ll be travelling to Oshawa on Friday, November 1 to play in the league finals, and are looking forward to having another chance to play.

Local athletes Avery Hall, Julia Fox, Angeline Carreau, Hailey Duggan, Courtney Tabobondung, Jordyn Fountain Macleod, and Jolie Gagnon brought considerable talent and experience to the team, and have been a big part of the team’s success this year.
