As of this morning, Tuesday, December 27, there were still an estimated 3,888 customers without hydro in the Huntsville area. Those numbers seem to be dropping quickly compared to almost 9,000 customers without power on Monday.
Hydro One has brought in reinforcements as well as contractors to get the work done as quickly as possible, according to Hydro One spokesperson Tiziana Baccega Rosa.
As more remote areas are opened up and roads get plowed, Hydro One crews will be better able to access problem areas, she explained.
