I was so sorry to hear about this largely preventable accident, and my heart goes out to Mike and Gina. I never met the lady involved, but I understand that she was of incredible assistance to young mothers in the area. It takes a very special person to be successful in this area, and she will be sorely missed.
This particular site has been the source of many accidents over the years. Drivers on Brunel Road, realizing that they have the vehicular right-of-way, tend to ignore the flashing yellow caution signal. Also, the vertical “crest” curve is substandard for the speed limit. Trying to “flatten” the crest would be untenable to several adjoining property owners. A traffic circle, the best long-term solution, would be even more impactful. The only short-term solution, therefore, would be to change the flashing signal to red on Brunel Road. Brunel Road drivers would retain their right-of-way, but would stop for vehicles/pedestrians entering the intersection.
Nobody was at fault. As humans, we become accustomed to longstanding situations, and fail to adjust in the manner we did initially. It is to be hoped that both District and Town traffic staffs will institute a co-operative solution as soon as possible.
Michael and Gina, This is so tragic. Seunagh has been such a wonderful and dedicated person to so many young moms and their babies. Her caring a beautiful spirit will be in our memories forever. My heart felt sympathy to you. Lynette Steep

The driver was not at fault, but this poor woman lost her life and it is sad regardless. The driver will be traumatized as well.
Unbelievable. I cannot say how much my heart goes out to Gina and Mike.
Seungah, I will miss your gentle spirit, loving ways and kind soul. Thinking of Gina and Mike and other family members and friends as they mourn your sudden death. So many babies and children and their mothers have felt your joy and love. Our community will now wrap your family in love. Holding your memory close today and always. Love Sandy
My heart aches for her young daughter and husband 🙁 Seungah you will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Kim family and friends God Bless
My heart bleeds for this dear soul and all who love her. I appeal to all drivers to please, please slow down, be aware and careful in all weather conditions of ALL life in and around, especially in fog, weather, season-changes, full moons, etc. So many lives are at stake, both inside and outside the vehicle.
Please…..slow down and always assume that living humans and animals are just outside of your vehicle.
Anticipate and be prepared for life.
So very sorry…..??
My Condolences to the Family
