Huntsville OPP are reporting that just before 7:00 pm tonight (March 10, 2016), they were notified that a pedestrian had been struck on Brunel Road. The 42-year-old female was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries. Brunel Road between Main Street and Princess Street as well as High Street between Brunel Road and River Street are closed while the OPP Technical Collision Investigator and a Traffic Reconstructionist are at the scene to conduct an investigation. More details will be released as they become available.
