OPP traffic stop leads to impaired driving charges

On Sunday October 1, 2017 at approximately 11:00 a.m., members of Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 60 in the Town of Huntsville.

While conducting an investigation into a Highway Traffic Act offence, officers suspected the driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver of the vehicle provided a breath sample into a roadside screening device and registered a fail.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, 34-year old Christopher CULL of Brampton, Ontario has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle Over 80 Milligrams. He is scheduled to appear at Ontario Court of Justice located in Huntsville on Wednesday October 18, 2017.
