OPP make arrests in Hwy 60, Main St. robberies

 

On Monday October 29, 2018 Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were made aware of a break in at business on Main St. W. in the town of Huntsville. Later that evening a robbery had taken place at a business on Highway #60 in the town of Huntsville.

Investigation commenced with the assistance of Community Street Crime Unit Muskoka (CSCU) and Huntsville Crime Unit and led to two arrests being made.

On November 2, 2018 Caleb STICKLAND, an 18-year-old male from Huntsville was arrested for the two events. He has since been charged with Robbery with Intent, Break and Enter and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Disguise with Intent, all under the Criminal Code of Canada. He was held for a bail hearing and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on November 8, 2018 to answer to those charges.

On November 5, 2018 a second male, Reilly DICKIE a 19-year-old also from Huntsville was arrested and charged with the same offences. He was released with conditions and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Huntsville on December 5, 2018 to answer to his charges.
