On Friday, November 23, 2018 shortly before 9:00 a.m., members of the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a commercial motor vehicle having rolled over a 24-year-old male on Gordon Point Road in Magnetawan, Ontario.
Investigation has determined that the driver of the vehicle was attempting to install tire chains when the vehicle rolled forward on top of him. Devin GILPIN from Huntsville, Ontario was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Ministry of Labour.
