October is Small Business Month and to celebrate, the Muskoka Small Business Centre (MSBC) is inviting the public to an Open House on Wednesday, October 18 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The Centre at 158 Manitoba Street, Bracebridge is under new management, and new Managing Business Consultant, Terri Plaxton Smith, wants to remind the small business community and the many hopeful entrepreneurs out there that they are open for business and ready to assist both existing businesses and those individuals wishing to start a new business in Muskoka.
“I hope the business community will join us at the Open House,” says Plaxton Smith. “I am very excited about the information, programs, and services that we can provide to help entrepreneurs and wanna-be entrepreneurs navigate an often complex and overwhelming process. This is a great opportunity to meet the all new staff, and check out the Centre for yourself! Come for lunch, and meet some of the successful businesses in the community who have benefited from our services.”
Representatives from the Town of Bracebridge and the Ministry of Economic Development and Growth will be on hand to welcome guests and provide support to the MSBC. Light lunch and cake will be served.
