Muskoka Pride Festival launches with party in Huntsville today

 

The Muskoka Pride Festival begins this Friday in River Mill Park in downtown Huntsville at 3 p.m.. It features activities for the whole family.

“For the last seven years we have begun the Muskoka Pride festivities in Huntsville,” explains Muskoka Pride board member Shawn Forth. “It is a great way to start off the week of LGBTQ celebration across Muskoka.”

The Huntsville Fire Department is once again cooking at the BBQ. There will be free hot dogs and drinks available for everyone.

Live music will be provided by Emily Bridle and her band. There will also be vendors, community information displays, and several activities for kids. The celebration in River Mill Park is set right before downtown Huntsville’s Midnight Madness at 6 p.m.
