“I share the residents of MacTier and Georgian Bay Township’s concerns regarding the irresponsible and dangerous discharge of firearms on Crown land. This reckless behavior threatens public safety and will not be tolerated.
I fully support the OPP’s investigation and their efforts to hold these individuals accountable.
The vast majority of firearms owners are responsible, law-abiding citizens who follow the rules and respect their communities. Their commitment to safety must be recognized. Regrettably, the actions of the individuals involved do a disservice to the thousands of responsible gun owners across Parry Sound–Muskoka.
If anyone has information related to these incidents, please contact the Bracebridge OPP at (1-888-310-1122).”

We need some communication from the OPP, because the longer this goes on, the more racism and intolerance will build. It certainly appears there are two standards when it comes to firearms. I spend lots of time in the outdoors and hold the necessary licensing; however I can GUARANTEE (that’s 100% certainty) that if it were me and my pals acting like that we’d already be rounded up and completely decimated by the legal system. So yeah, Bill Beatty, (my all-time favourite municipal politician) – the toxicity will continue to ratchet up without effective PR from the police.
The lack of respect for the environment is mind boggling.
The bridge was left littered with shells. Locals say this isn’t the first time and are demanding action from authorities.
Is the OPP checking the shell casings for fingerprints or is this politically forbidden? We all know that we with a firearms license are the dangerous ones. Just some out of towners having fun?
My question is, where did this picture originate?
It is a close up. Who is the photographer?
Was it an internet post?
Surely the photograph can be traced.and charges laid
They should be put in jail for 15 years. And lits of fines. Who in their right mind would think this is ok. This gives gun owners a bad name.
The picture of the men shooting should be published in every newspaper in Canada and across all social media. Thank you.
Perhaps some of these Lads have other deeds of a nefarious nature which may mean the police investigation goes deeper ! I have complete faith that a bulletin will arrive when their work is complete .Geez they’r not even wearing camo !
P.S….The immigrant bashing rhetoric is not helpful !
Have been seeing this footage for a while now
How can this be continuing behaviour and how anyone thinks this is ok or acceptable is mind blowing
Their rights to anything need to be revoked and they need to be secured in a holding place for reform.
Safety and common sense have gone out the window these days.

Take away the guns. Lock them and the individuals up.
