“Unacceptable” I can think of much stronger words. These men need to be arrested. NOW. They are mocking lawmakers.
I thought that when you put something on social media that it could be traced back to the person that put it on. If that is true ,why have these people not be found? The man with the handgun is breaking the law for sure.
If they damaged property, they broke the law. The thing that is concerning is how they got the guns.
Karen O’Hearn: Why do you see racism as part of this scenario?
What I see is a group of men who are either unaware of or disregarding the rules of the land. If they don’t know the rules, why are they in possession of weapons? We have enough news on the crazies from south of the border. Is this a practicing group of the same?
Since when can you open carry an ACP (autoloading centerfire pistol) and blast away at random? You can transport such a weapon in a secure case to and from a sanctioned range. This is likely an illegal weapon, If this person has taken the training and is acting like shown, then there is no regard for the laws of the land.
The group can’t be hunting since there is no open season except for the one imagined by fools. And I’m sure their attire is not recognised as legal hunting garb. Or wise. It is reported that they shot up both the bridge and some signage.
I was told that if I was prepared to kill an animal or bird, I should be prepared to eat it. And I’ve cooked a lot of stuff not in the game mainstream. So do these jerks have an acceptable recipe for bridge or sign? Or are they just jerks.
Jerk can be universal and has little to do with race. As can criminal.
Shocking. Truly shocking.
These fools need to be fined and placed in jail for a long time.
And then maybe the arrogance will subside…
I do wonder whether, if these individuals where white, would their photos be posted in the paper?
By doing so, it feeds into racist and prejudiced ways of thinking.
As demonstrated in the comments above. Are they refugees, we don’t, are they Canadians, we don’t know, have they lived here all their lives, , we don’t know.
We shouldn’t be painting everyone that looks a certain way with one brush.
Sadly if they caught, they will be out on bail. I’m so tired of hearing “out on bail”.
-Get caught for drunk driving a 3rd time-out on bail
-Assault – out on bail
-Vandalism – out on bail
-Steal gold from Pearson airport – out on bail
You get the picture.
Police do the work to apprehend and then our system falls short. Perhaps more consequences for your actions?
Really shocking photo. What I can see is that they are men but I do not assume all men are likely to be criminal or harmful. Also seemingly new non- European immigrants or refugees should not be assumed to be criminals or from Toronto. There are very lovely folks and even men from away.
As immigrants to Canada after the second world War we were grateful to Canada for accepting us and providing a safe haven and opportunities for a better life. We learned the language and laws and adhered to them. This doesn’t seem to be the case with some of the so called new refugees. If laws are broken their refugee status should be revoked and deported to the country they cane from. Why should Canadian citizens pay for them to be tried and time in jail.
I just thought wouldnt the MNR be the ones to handle this. They are more strict with guns and fishing etc. Think of this are these guys also shooting out of there cars at wildlife.?
I am totally disgusted by this. Police do something about this, its coming up on hunting season soon, what happens if someone gets killed by these morons. They deserve to all lose there guns and cars and go to jail. And have to pay to repair the bridge before winter and clean up there garbage. And obviously they have had an open fire there probably during the fire ban. And if they started a forest fire it would have been oh sorry we didnt know.
I would suggest that these are not .locals and regardless should not be in possession of handguns..Hopefully the O.P.P. wi.l arrest these immature Clowns who feel the need to impress !
