Members of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a serious snowmobile collision in Lake of Bays Township.
On February 25, 2023, at approximately 2:45 p.m., officers and emergency services responded to a report of a single snowmobile collision into a tree on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) Trail D102B near Muskoka Road 117, south of Baysville.
A 43-year-old male of Burlington was transported to a local hospital and airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries.
