It’s like something out of a movie—hop on a plane and have dinner anywhere in the world. The Kiwanis Club of Huntsville Muskoka made it a reality for one lucky winner in its second annual Dinner Draw.
A ticket in the draw offered the chance to win one of three prizes: a grand prize of dinner for two anywhere in the world ($5,000 travel voucher from Godfrey’s Travel in Huntsville plus $1,000 cash); second prize of a dinner and stay at Deerhurst Resort (one night accommodations and dinner for two at Eclipse Restaurant); or third prize of a dinner for two at a restaurant anywhere in Muskoka ($300 value).
Three lucky winners were drawn on August 17 at Canvas Brewing Company:
Grand prize: Karin O’Reilly of North Bay
Second prize: Karin Watt of Huntsville
Third prize: Liz McCallum of Emsdale
The funds raised support local youth programs.
“A big congratulations to our lucky winners and a HUGE thank you to all our participants,” said Rick Brooks, Kiwanis Club of Huntsville Muskoka secretary. “Although not all can win, the true winners are the children’s programs locally that the Kiwanis Club of Huntsville Muskoka and our proceeds from events like this are able to support.
