The pandemic coupled with rising inflation is putting a significant demand on food banks.
Members of the Kiwanis Huntsville Muskoka Club will be positioned outside of Bullock’s Independent, FreshCo, and Metro grocery stores this Wednesday and Thursday, July 27 and 28 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. They will be ready to accept your donations to the food bank in order to help the most vulnerable families and individuals in our community.
There will be in-store “Food Bank Specials” to assist those wishing to make a donation in order to help others. Below is also a list of items most needed. Cash donations are also accepted.
“We were so thankful for the tremendous support from the community and our grocers for our 2021 “Christmas in July” drive, so we are hopeful of your continuing support again to make this drive truly a “Christmas in July” for so many local families!” say program volunteers.
