The ski season opened last weekend at Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area, so we thought we’d share a vintage ski photo. We don’t have many details about this one–can any Doppler readers help identify the location of this photo? Can you guess the year it was taken? (Photo: Archive of Ontario)

Doppler readers were able to identify some of these young Jackrabbits skiers from the 1980s.
Joel Hodge shared that “the three tall kids in the back are myself, my younger brother Jeremy Hodge and my older sister Becky Hodge,” and Sheila Phippen wrote that she believes one of the skiers is Chris Wilson. Do you recognize any others? (Thanks to Mary Spring for sharing this photo with us!)

Looks like the old Huntsville Ski Club south of town. You can just make out the rope tow in the background. Don’t recognize the skiers.
