This week, Huntsville is standing in for a US town for the filming of a movie, but it’s not the first time that has happened. Scenes were filmed at Lions Lookout for another movie way back in the ’80s. Do you know which one or the actors shown in this screen shot from the film?

Last week we shared this photo with you:

This postcard, depicting Huntsville’s swing bridge with the Anglican church on the hill, was published by by Harry Booth sometime in the early 1900s.
Reader Tim Wilgress believes that the large house on the hill is the Francis House. It was built by Fred Francis, Tim’s great-great-grandfather. Fred’s daughter Annie married G.S. Wilgress who built his law office just down the hill, which later became The Book Case and Café Wilgress, among other things.
Thanks, Tim!
