Hope Arises Project Inc. is an Indigenous-led not-for-profit organization in Huntsville.

It grew out of the hearts of two mothers who, moved by the discovery of the graves of Indigenous children at Canadian residential schools, saw a need and felt compelled to act.

The Hope Arises Project began with awareness and public education initiatives regarding the impact of residential schools. It has since grown to include mandates of community outreach; dismantling cultural misconceptions through education; and promoting and preserving indigenous culture through community connection and knowledge sharing.

On November 17, 2022, the directors of Hope Arises Project Inc. opened an account with the Bank of Nova Scotia in Huntsville, officially announcing Hope Arises as a not-for-profit incorporation.  On the same day, Hope Arises Inc. accepted its first official donation from community partner Deerhurst Resort. Nancy Alcock, incoming Mayor of Huntsville, attended the event.
