Christine’s Place Pregnancy and Family Support Centre hosted their first Golf and Dine event at the Mark O’Meara Golf Club on August 27th. The sold-out event provided participants with an afternoon of golf, a buffet dinner, and a fabulous auction.

“We are extremely grateful for all our supporters and sponsors of this year’s event. We are especially appreciative of our partnering sponsors Cayman Marshall, SML, Tulloch Engineering, and Muskoka Lumber,” states Jenn Adair, Board Chair of Christine’s Place.

The Golf and Dine partnering sponsors were delighted to support Christine’s Place and wanted to share their reasons behind doing so.

“SML is thankful to have the opportunity of having a small role in helping those within our community in times of need and crisis. Christine’s Place stands with young woman during times of great crisis and need, helping them spiritually and tangibly. To assist Christine’s Place in this worthy fundraiser is an honour for us at SML. We encourage others to support Christine’s Place and to share in the celebration of making a difference in the lives of those in our community who need the help Christine’s Place offers,” explains Bruce Fitter, President, SML Contracting.

\’One of the foundations of TULLOCH Engineering is community involvement and support. We place significant value on the support of, and participation in, causes such as Christine’s Place. Christine’s Place fills a void in our community where young women can feel safety and compassion in a time where they might otherwise feel lonely and isolated. This is an organization that we are proud to stand behind and encourage others to do so as well. We consider it a privilege to join this team of people serving a worthy cause,” states Dana Baker, Executive Assistant of Tulloch Engineering.

“Muskoka Lumber is proud to support Christine’s Place in its mission to serve and strengthen the most vulnerable in our community. Whether it is through counselling services, Christine’s Cupboard, their Circle of Security parenting classes or the Christmas Blessing program, Christine’s Place provides much needed practical and emotional support to its clients. We admire their ability to be fiscally responsible, to stretch every dollar to have maximum impact due to their loyal volunteer base. With unconditional acceptance, respect, and confidentiality, Christine’s Place pregnancy and family support centre makes a positive impact in our community and specifically in the lives of Muskoka families,” Jason Sifft of Muskoka Lumber.
