In loving memory of Wilfred Daniel O’Neil Campbell

April 14, 1974 – July 13, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, son, and brother, Dan Campbell, surrounded by his family at home.

Dan’s greatest joys in life were his family and friends. He will be remembered fondly for his kindness, generosity, and adventurous spirit. He cherished every moment spent with his children, family, and friends. We find comfort in the thought that he is now embarking on new adventures with his son Kaedin, who left us just three short years ago.

Dan always embraced the opportunity to go camping and fishing whenever possible, creating cherished memories during his annual trips with his closest friends. His enduring qualities included a deep love for his family, unwavering loyalty to his friends, and an infectious passion for adventure.

Dan’s immense heart will be deeply missed every day by all who loved him as fiercely as he loved us, especially his wife of 27 years, Jennifer; his children Tegan, Kaedin, and Gabriel; his parents, Dan and Eva; sister Dawn (Peter) with nieces Kirrah and Lilly, and brother Chris with nephews Nolan, Brody and niece Lauren.

We take solace in knowing that Dan and Kaedin are reunited, smiling down upon us from heaven.

In lieu of flowers, please consider supporting Dan’s other great passion—the love of sports, especially encouraging children to participate. We would like to support “Next Goal Wins Fund”, the Mike Brown’s Fund for Youth in Sport through the Children of Muskoka foundation, to help all kids who want to play sports in Muskoka. Please donate to: https://www.childrenofmuskoka.com/donations/

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Billingsley Funeral Home, 430 Ravenscliffe Road, Huntsville.  Speeches will begin at 2 p.m.
