Ten finalists are vying for their chance at one of five cash prizes at this year’s Impact Awards Gala. A total of $45,000 is being given away to recognize Parry Sound Area and Muskoka-based entrepreneurs whose businesses have the greatest potential for making an impact.
The Parry Sound Area Founders Circle is awarding two cash prizes worth $10,000 and $5,000. The Muskoka Founders Circle is awarding three cash prizes, worth $15,000, $10,000, and $5,000. The cash prizes provide growth capital to those businesses with the greatest potential to grow, be profitable, add local jobs, and contribute to the local economy.
“The Impact Awards Gala is our nod to the innovation and excellence happening in the Parry Sound and Muskoka entrepreneurial space and a way for us to come together to recognize the incredible talent in our region,” says Stuart Morley, Executive Director of the Parry Sound Muskoka Community Network. “We have such incredible spirit in Parry Sound and Muskoka and we really want to celebrate and recognize the hard work, grit and determination that our local entrepreneurs have shown over this past year.”
