Huntsville OPP remind motorists that it is an offence to drive on a closed road

We are continuing to experience high water levels in the region which has resulted in multiple road closures.

Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police would like to remind everyone that driving on a closed road is not only unsafe due the unknown integrity of the road below and potential for fast-moving water, but it is also a provincial offence and drivers could face fines.

Please stay off all closed roads.
