Members of the Huntsville Detachment, Muskoka Crime Unit, Child Exploitation Unit and the Digital Forensic Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted an investigation into a sexual assault involving a young person and an adult resulting in charges.
Police received a complaint from Cybertip.ca in late December that a young person had intimate contact with an adult male. As a result of the investigation, Kevin CAMERON, 49-years-old, of Huntsville Ontario, has been charged with:
- Adult Luring a Person Under 18 years of age by means of Telecommunication;
- Adult Luring a Person Under 16 years of age by means of Telecommunication; and
- Adult Distribute Sexually Explicit Material to a Person under 18yrs of age.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville, at a later date.
