HHS, AAEC, St. Mary’s closed to students today due to one-day teacher strike

Secondary schools and Adult and Alternate Education Centre sites in Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) are closed to students today, Wednesday, December 4, 2019, due to the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) one-day province-wide strike. This strike impacts all TLDSB secondary teachers and professional support staff in TLDSB.

Secondary school teachers will return to work and schools will be open to students on Thursday, December 5, 2019.

Public elementary schools are not affected by this announcement and will remain open.

[Note: Catholic elementary and secondary schools will also be closed, including St. Mary’s in Huntsville and St. Dom’s in Bracebridge.]
